Resistance is Fertile
The first movement of "Sinister Furniture, Structural
Objects and Functional Art", will appear at 7:00 Monday December
8th and December 9th and 10th by appointment at the Bluelion Art Gallery, 420
Evans st. Reno Nevada (behind Louie's Basque Corner). Jeffrey D. Johnson, local
artist and Minister of Inert Gases has a revolutionary collection of functional
art objects for timeless yet post-modern home decor. From bedroom to barroom and
everywhere in between, this display will feature unique and radical applications
of electrified coffee tables, chairs, coat racks etc. Many of these articles are
not just affordable but just plain cheap. High voltage equals low amperage so
one of these puppies may be the most economical lighting in the house and
cleverly disguised and protected, neon tubes last forever. This furniture need
not be seen across the street but just add a cozy glow in any appropriate color
excluding black and brown. Invite your architect, interior designer or handyman
and we'll ponder the possibilities.
Refreshments will be served.
